Ray has always had an affinity for spirituality, as long as he can recall. Growing up in the Episcopal church, he got his first "official" taste of practical religion as a junior acolyte. He got to assist in the children's church service, helping the Asst. Pastor. Says Ray, "I would watch intently as he performed the liturgy, anticipating the next step of the ceremony. I began to understand why he was doing things when he was doing things. I was watching the energy of the rituals. Not your typical 9 year old!"

In his 20's, not happy working in the family business, and wanting to pursue a career in the entertainment field (Ray was the front man in a bar band at the time and loving it), he shared a dream with his Dad about playing his way across the country. His father said, "why don't you go to the family cabin, instead?" A light bulb went off. Ray knew that's what he was supposed to do! 

It was during this time at the cabin that Ray received his Calling.

 

Says Ray, "I was led back to the Bay Area and, after getting through the growth period this phenomenal event instilled, had a series of serendipitous episodes that eventually led me to the Berkeley Psychic Institute in 1985. I took all the beginning classes I could. Then, in 1987, signed up for the Clairvoyant Training Program, an 18 month commitment. The next 17 years were spent at BPI, learning, training and teaching. It was never a dull moment."

What is a "Spiritual Mechanic"? is a question Ray gets asked a lot.

 

As he explains it, "I see the body as a vehicle through which Spirit creates. Without a body, it's been said, you wouldn't know how spiritual you are! And, like a vehicle, it takes training to learn how to drive it. Like a car, sometimes you need a tune-up. Maybe you're not experiencing life at the level you want to. By looking at your energy system, I can help you to get to where you want to go. 

My Passion is showing how to get out of the back seat and grab the steering wheel!

 

Having spent more than half this lifetime reading, healing and teaching, there is still more being shown him. It's this constant desire to know himself through others that keeps him striving to learn, understand, comprehend and experience that It Is All There Is.
